Yacht Deliveries With Tuition

Each passage is different. each with its own unique requirements however, on all occasions our principle, Peter will act as master of the vessel. Taking with him qualified experienced crew as required.

With over 100,000 miles experience Peter has been Sailing for the last 40 years. Peter has extensively sailed the Atlantic, Caribbean, Irish sea, English Channel, North Sea, Inland waterways of Holland, Aegean and the Mediterranean.

His qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Commercially endorsed RYA Yachmaster Ocean Instructor
  • RYA Diesel Engine Instructor
  • RYA RADAR Instructor
  • RYA SRC (VHF) Instructor
  • RYA First Aid Instructor
  • RYA Ocean Instructor

What is included in the delivery fee?

Check and preparation of the vessel on arrival and carrying out the proposed delivery, clean and detailed handover of yacht and where appropriate a condition report. Yacht tuition as agreed with the owner.

What is not included in the delivery fee?

Crew travel expenses to and from the yacht, Fuel, Gas, Port, Canal and Marina fees; costs of vessel preparation, Repairs, Servicing. Delays due to machinery or gear failure. Delays due to stress of the weather. Communications incurred by way of weather faxes, mobile phone calls etc relative to the voyage in hand.

What about safety equipment?

On deliveries a certain amount of safety equipment must be onboard in case of emergencies.

Payment and availability

A provisional date will be set on receipt of a 10% deposit. A further 50% of the delivery fee plus a, cleared funds, expenses deposit is payable before the joining date. Balance of the delivery fee plus expenses and any delays incurred is payable within seven days of account presentation and completion of delivery.
